Do you throw or hand build your own pottery but don't have a kiln to bisque fire them?  Or do you have glazed bisque you need to glaze fire?  We can help!!  Please send us a message and we can schedule a time for space in our electric kiln.  Most firings range from 26-50 hours to allow for proper cool down time.  We can fire Cone 04 through Cone 6.

All firings will occur only after the objects are completely dry and when there is space available in the kiln.

Each item will be priced by size ranging from $2.00 - $30.00.

Any firings with special requirements such as ramp/holds or customized program firings may be subject to additional fees.  For all glaze firings, the pieces must be properly cleaned off on the foot.  If glaze remains on the foot, we may need to clean them off prior to firing or use stilts, if possible, to prevent items from sticking to shelves.  We will communicate with the renter if additional fees will be incurred to cover labor costs for these steps.

Our standard turn around time for firings is 2 weeks.  We can accommodate rush orders, but there may be an additional fee.

ATTN:  When using RedTail Studio to fire your clay, you agree to hold RedTail Studio or any of its employees harmless for any items that incur damage, including cracking, breaking, blistering, exploding or any other unsatisfactory result.  If your item should melt, explode or damage our kiln or shelves during firing, you will be responsible for those damages.

All items will be loaded and unloaded by the owner of the studio.
