This speckled buff stoneware set has been glazed in Deep Firebrick with an Albany Slip Brown overlay. The rims were accented with light flux allowing the Albany Slip Brown to flow down creating a unique downward flow of fire. The bottom side of each plate has been left unglazed, featuring the raw speckled clay. The larger plate measures 9 3/8" in diameter with a shallow height of 2 1/8". The smaller bowl measures 8 11/16" in diameter and 1 3/4" in height.
